"How are you?"

Oh no, not this again. I try to come up with something interesting, but I can't remember anything.

Good. A word that's been reduced to something used in every banal conversation to describe anything and everything between all acquaintances across the globe. Yet, that one word can represent so many different experiences in that context. Through my installation that verges on performance, I address my personal flattening and forgetfulness of my own experiences by creating a small felted cube for each day over the span of a few weeks. In making each felted object vary with different colors and densities, "good" takes on a new meaning every day. For me, materializing these subjective happenings makes each day more substantial and real.
